Popular gay bistro in Montreal's gay village. This place is something of an institution. It's great for people watching - you'll see a lot of hot Montrealer guys.

You can choose from a wide variety of dishes including local and international cuisine. You can tuck into a filling burger or fish and chips; if you're watching the calories then there a plenty of lighter options. There's also a good choice for vegetarians.

Happy hour takes place between 16:00 - 19:00 and invariably draws a diverse crowd.

This restro-bar covers all your needs. You can dine here like you're in a restaurant or make a night of it at the bar. You could well find yourself doing both.

This classy cocktail bar is located on St. Catherine Street, right in the heart of Montreal's gay village. It's right by Beaudry metro station, so it's a great spot if you simply cannot wait for that martini.

Bar Renard offers a good selection of artisan beers. A food bar menu is available if you get pecking, but this is really a place to drink rather than eat.

The chic decor and friendly atmosphere make for a charming experience. This is a good place to start your night out.

Cabaret Mado is an iconic Montreal drag bar located on St Catherine. Presided over by the Drag Queen Mado Lamotte herself, she hosts a variety of drag performers and interacts with the crowd in French. If she knows there are tourists in the crowd she'll occasionally switch to English.

Inspired by the decadent Weimar entertainments of the 1920s, this gender-bending den of ill repute is guaranteed to be a good night out.

Stock Bar is a male strip club in Montreal's gay village featuring over 60 muscular hunks dancing for your pleasure.

Stock is a well-established name in the Montreal gay scene. It briefly closed in early 2023 for renovations but has since reopened.

The club is well-known for having the best dancers in town. With so many dancers onstage, there's somebody to suit everybody's tastes. Get here quickly and grab a stage-side seat for a great view, but don't worry; plenty of other seats are available too if you come later.

The bar is fairly affordable, and Stock Bar and is located on the main strip in the gay village, right in the heart of the action. A trip here would be a great start to your evening, or maybe you'll want to stay all night. The crowd is often mostly women, but gay men are always welcome to join in on the fun.
