From May 24 to 27, DC Black Pride invites the Black LGBTQIA+ community to gather for a celebration of diversity, inclusion, and advocacy. Originating over 30 years ago, this event sparked the global Black Pride Movement, inspiring numerous similar celebrations worldwide.

Events to Look Forward To

DC Black Pride has numerous events planned, including these must-see highlights:

• May 24: DC Black Pride Opening Reception - Kick off the celebrations at the Westin Washington, DC Downtown with an unforgettable evening featuring Paris Sashay and other top talents. Complimentary entry with registration.

• May 25: Workshops and Music Showcase - Engage in enriching workshops and a special music event 'The Sounds of Black Pride' with DJ Suspence, exploring hits across decades, at the Westin Washington, DC Downtown. Free admission; RSVP required.

• May 26: Faith Service and Iconic Drag Brunch - Start with a morning faith service followed by the 'Brunch & Babes' drag brunch at Hook Hall, with performances by top drag artists and fundraising for a noble cause.

• May 27: Pride In The Park - Enjoy a fun-filled day at Fort Dupont Park with activities ranging from live entertainment to sports and wellness activities. This grand finale is not to be missed!
