I was there in 2004 and found it in the middle of a very stressful and sad work relationship. Initially I couldn't find it, but then somebody I picked up cruising in the park took me there. Relaxing and enjoyed every moment of it. Older gentlemen would sit around a table brewing Oolong tea and we would sing karaoke. It was so different being away from the harsh unfriendly gay life in Cape Town, South Africa. No drugs and people didn't get drunk or use poppers.

The entrance is not so easy to find but after reading reviews here I was able to find it easily. There is sign only above the lift in chinese. All in all whole facility is quite big. Sauna facilities are very very small for such big object. There are two sauna rooms: one dry sauna - without any lights just one window, second steam sauna completely dark after closing. There are quite a lot of showers before sauna. These parts of facility are quite smelly. There is also gym in there like 15 sq m big. There is very big and high main room with some magazines to read and a few chairs to sit. Above this there are two rooms for karaoke. After the main room there is a hall with about 15 private cabins and one large cinema like room. In all of these rooms there is playing one and the same porn movie. In the sauna there is drink dispensing machine so there is unlimited and free of charge water and other soft drinks like Coke or Sprite. All in all the experience was not pleasent as they charged us 300 NTD and noone said that in about one hours or so they will start to close it. Just one old guy came and opened every sauna without saying anything. Apparently slippers are not allowed in this sauna, I was asked to go barefoot in whole facility which is unseen in any other sauna that I have visited!

What an unusual building for a sauna. The main room looks like it might have been a concert hall in an earlier life. Canvernous! But it’s very pleasant all up. The shower and saunas are cruisy. The steam sauna’s back room is stupidly dark... can’t see more than 10cm in front of you... front room is only marginally better. Porn showing in all the private cabins. Sadly it’s all American vanilla porn. We’re in Asia, ffs. The sauna provides unlimited soft drinks and tea and water free of charge. Well done. PS: there are two lifts going up... only the left hand side lift goes to level 5, the level that the sauna is on.

Arrived here mid week 7 pm one Asian one westerner. Busy with variety of ages from looked like 18 to 80. Lots of fun in the dark room and steam room. Everyone seems friendly. Staff speak very little English but doesn't much to make yourself understood.
